Terms and Conditions – Training Courses

When you make your application, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:

Course fee

• The advertised course fee includes 30 hours of training per module, course handbook, module registration on successful completion, and a certificate on successful completion of all four modules. The fee does not include meals.
• Payment for each module (or the full fee) must be received by The Spark at least 14 calendar days before the module or course start date.
• If you wish to withdraw from the course or subsequent modules, please inform us no later than 2 weeks before the first date of that module. We will refund any payments made for modules not yet begun less a £25 administration fee.
• If an applicant does not pass a module, The Spark will refund any payments made for modules not yet begun. We cannot offer refunds for any module started but not completed.
• If the course is cancelled by The Spark we will refund the full fee. We are unable to reimburse out-of-pocket expenses, such as for travel or accommodation.

Liability

We are not responsible for items that are lost or stolen during our course and workshops.

• A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your place. This deposit can be used as credit to enrol on another course with The Spark starting within one year of the original course start date.
• Payment for each module (or the full fee) must be received by The Spark at least 7 calendar days before the module or course start date.
• Where payment is made by Direct Debit, we will initiate collecting that payment:
  • Two weeks before Module 1.
  • One week before Modules 2, 3, and 4.

Withdrawals and Refunds

• If you wish to withdraw from the course or subsequent modules, please inform us no later than 2 weeks before the first date of that module. We will refund any payments made for modules not yet begun less a £25 administration fee (this does not apply to the non-refundable deposit).
