# School-Based Groupwork & Workshops

The Spark offers a program of groupwork and workshops for children in Primary 4 to Secondary 6. The programme is designed to help schools respond to common issues found within school or the pupil population such as anxiety, conflict and change.

## Groupwork

Our groupwork programme offers structured therapeutic and psychoeducational sessions for small groups of primary school children over a period of six weeks. Pupils work together on collaborative activities, discussions, and exercises. The sessions help children develop skills, build relationships, and work on personal growth.

This intervention programme teaches children how to build and maintain healthy relationships through structured workbook and discussion-based activities.

## Coping with Change

This programme helps primary school children cope with change through structured workbook and discussion-based activities.

## Understanding Me

This therapeutic programme leverages proven Art and Play therapy techniques to create a supportive, client-led environment. 

## Workshops

Our workshop programme offers a single session of intensive training for groups of up to 15 secondary school pupils. The workshop involves a mix of presentation, activities, and discussion focused on a particular theme. They are designed to provide intensive learning or training on a specific subject within a short time frame. The sessions provide knowledge, strategies, or skills related to a specific topic.

This 2-hour stand-alone workshop is structured around workbook and discussion-based activities, focusing on maintaining a mentally healthy lifestyle.

Focusing on understanding and managing anxiety this 2-hour stand-alone workshop is structured around workbook and discussion-based activities.

## Transitions

Suitable for S1 students transitioning into secondary school or S4-6 preparing to leave school this workshop helps pupils understand and cope better with transitions.
